Michelle Proctus joined Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC as an associate in January of 2026. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law where she earned multiple CALI awards,two of which were for family law and trial advocacy.
Prior to joining Black, LaFrance & Bollinger, LLC, Attorney Proctus worked in a boutique firm focusing her practice in family law for four years. Prior to becoming an attorney, Attorney Proctus was a career paralegal working in national and international law firms.
Attorney Proctus focuses her practice on divorce and family law matters, including custody, child support, parenting time, alimony, contempt actions and modification of existing judgments. Attorney Proctus also handles post-divorce abuse cases. She zealously advocates for fair resolutions for her clients. Whether through negotiation or litigation, her approach is strategic, results driven and built around the best interests of the client’s family. She believes in innovative solutions to complex family problems. She is a compassionate advisor, zealous advocate and creative problem solver by providing a personal approach that is tailored to the individual needs of each client.
